Social Media Policy
Mineral Wells PSD uses social media such as Facebook as a quick way to disseminate important information to our customers. This information may include service advisories, warnings, scheduled outages, safety information, storm-related instructions, tips and other important communications. It is meant to supplement, not replace, other means of communications dictated by governmental agencies and regulators.
Do not use our social media pages to post or report emergencies or service needs, as we only monitor comments and posts during regular business hours. To make such reports, call 304.489.2915, which answers 24 hours per day.
We reserve the right to delete submissions that:
• Contain obscene, indecent or profane language;
• Contain threats or defamatory statements;
• Contain hate speech directed at race, color, sex, sexual orientation, national origin ethnicity, age, religion or disability; or
• Promote or endorse products or services.
