Water Rates (effective for all service rendered on and after 10/08/25)

First 3,000 gallons  $16.00 per 1,000 gallons
Next 7,000 gallons  $15.11 per 1,000 gallons
Next 10,000 gallons  $12.24 per 1,000 gallons
Excess over 20,000 gallons  $9.69 per 1,000 gallons

Minimum charge (based on size of water meter):

A. 5/8” meter:  $43.98 per month

B. 1” meter:  $109.95 per month

C. 2” meter:  $351.84 per month

D. 4″ meter:  $1099.50 per month

**The above minimum charge is subject to an additional $1.34 per 1,000 gallons of water used per month**

Reconnection charge (for resumption of water service):
If water has been turned off due to rule or regulation violations or non-payment of bills, service will not be re-established until the PSD has received payment of the past due balance, a $25.00 reconnection fee, and a security deposit of $70.00 (for water only), $54.00 (for sewer only) or $124.00 (water and sewer).

Sewer Rates (effective for all bills rendered on and after 10/24/25)

Customers on Public Water Supply
Customer Charge:  $28.19 per month
Commodity Charge:  $10.94 per 1,000 gallons of metered water

Customers Not on Public Water Supply:
Charge will equal usage of 4,500 gallons:  $77.42 per month

Mineral Wells PSD accepts payment by check, cash, or money order by mail or drop box in the district parking lot.

Due Dates

Water/Sewer customers should receive their billing statements by the 25th of each month. They must be paid by the 15th of the following month to avoid a 10% penalty.
